Works Supervisor (National)

Over the coming months we’ll be looking for Works Supervisors to join our regional Delivery Teams throughout Scotland.

You’d play a key role in overseeing our on the ground operations, working closely with our Forest Craftspersons, Foresters and contractors.

Main duties

Below are some tasks you could find yourself completing:

• Work with the Foresters and team to plan and execute safe and sustainable forest operations across your work area;
• Work to look after ongoing forest operations ensuring regular communication with direct teams, contractors and merchants;
• Provide a key point of contact for your Forester, teams and contractors to communicate effectively with each other;
• Ensure good records are kept of site visits, audits and stock control.
• The role requires regularly walking over, and marking out, sites on steep and uneven ground with exposed harvesting debris that has had ground preparation carried out. It also involves delivering plants to site with Quad Bike and unloading plant (trees) deliveries.

The role may differ slightly depending on where you’re based.
