Role Summary/Purpose: The Wind Service Senior Conversions, Modifications and Uprates (CM&U) Program Manager will develop offerings to enhance wind farm owner’s competitiveness, production and efficiency. This person will work cross functionally to ensure best ideas materialize into commercial offerings. Working closely with sales & commercial operations, CM&U engineering, PS&W, sourcing and marketing organizations the Senior CM&U program manager will develop and facilitate execution of CM&U ideas.
Essential Responsibilities - Take a primary role in the identification and implementation of process improvements to streamline the development of offerings and maximize effectiveness throughout the lifecycle
- Identify and scope CM&U initiatives based upon submitted ideas & concepts. Evaluate opportunity size and conduct value analysis to down select
- Ensure contractual requirements for field-testing and pilots are aligned with engineering initiatives during the development cycle, and coordinate as appropriate for proof of concept evaluation
- Provide technical & commercial leadership for assigned Programs assuring operating integrity
- Utilize CM&U Review Board (CRB) process to drive timely completion of projects
- Provide direction and leadership with interfacing organizations in the initiation and implementation of CM&Us to meet requirements and needs
- Assess commercial CM&U viability of RCA fixes & other top issue / fleet program efforts
- Complete CM&U development process for ideas as appropriate
- Utilize New Product Introduction (NPI) development process to drive timely completion of large scale, complex offerings
- Identify and assist with process improvement opportunities, including C&CE cycle reduction, schedule and budget adherence during the engineering development cycle, and creation and management of sales and marketing collateral
- Evaluate and execute DMP initiatives on existing offerings
- Coordinate with marketing communications and regional teams to define and lead communication efforts for quotable CM&U offerings
- Provide product training as required
- Track and measure CM&U penetration for developed offerings
- Ensure source book is maintained for developed offerings
- Coordinate with sales and commercial operations to facilitate identification of pilot/test sites for new CM&U offerings
- Prepare test agreement requirements as appropriate
- Lead development of Wind Farm Optimization Reports for all O&M sites
- Interface with customers to provide recommendations for improved wind farm profitability
- Mentor other team members
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 10 years of program / project management experience
- Minimum of 2 year of field or related technical experience
- Minimum of 1 year of balance of technical and commercial experience in power generation
