My Client is a leading player within the Wind Renewable Energy sector and has a requirement for three offshore Wind Project Managers for a 12months contract paying up to £800 per day based in the North of England.

 

 

The Role – Offshore Wind Project Manager

 

As the project manager for offshore wind within the Renewable Major Projects Division you will utilise staff from across my clients group to form large project teams and deliver on global offshore projects. You have the opportunity to join and manage in an established, well reputed and globally dominant renewable energy consultancy with continuing and vast ambition.

 

Key Requirements – Offshore Wind Project Manager

The offshore Wind Project Manager must be decisive and have strong planning and facilitating skills. Furthermore, you are enthusiastic, result-oriented, customer focused, resourceful and creative.

The successful offshore Wind Project Manager should be characterised by having strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong conceptual problem solving capabilities and willing to travel.

Experience of managing the design or owner's activity on offshore wind projects. Able to manage large projects utilising large numbers of staff and subcontractors.

 A degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering.

Job Description – Offshore Wind Project Manager

Design and interface management; Perform technical contract negotiations with suppliers; Participate in development and optimization of new solutions for offshore wind turbine installation; Plan and analyse the strategy for project implementation; Advising clients on issues of project construction; Providing regular reports on the status of the projects for senior management
