Role Summary/Purpose: Overall ownership of planning processes relating to specific demand streams. The Wind Energy Material Planner can include component planning and complete program execution. Also includes optimization and utilization of key system tools such as Advance Supply Chain Planning.
Essential Responsibilities - Specific demand stream management such as capital spares and/or global flow parts
- Drive and solidify the front end supply chain requirements that support the development of certified schedules
- Develop and maintain global component line of balance schedules in support of sales, warranty and service demand
- Execute purchase requisitions are aligned with certified schedules
- Maintain the inventory in support of department goals and objectives, which includes component 'On Time Delivery' and 'Inventory Turns Optimization'
- Maintain an optimal inventory level by using Line Of Balance, forecasting and replenishment planning methods
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in program management and processes coordination
- Minimum of 3 years Planning and Forecasting management experience in a service parts distribution organization
