Wildlife field technicians needed for a project investigating dietary and habitat use of grizzly and black bears in the Yellowstone Lake ecosystem. Position runs from about May 12th 2009 to October 15th 2009. Primary field duties will include: checking hair snares, surveying trout streams for spawners, habitat analysis at GPS locations for collared grizzly and black bears. Habitat analysis includes keying out local vegetation and collecting food items.
