This project is looking for volunteers who are passionate about conservation and who want to get involved in the field monitoring of whale sharks. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience and valuable skills for a career in marine conservation. No specific skills required but must be confident in the water.
US$30 per day which is a discounted rate specifically for VLA members (40% discount per day on our usual cost). The fee includes pick-up on arrival, accommodation, a comprehensive series of lectures covering all aspects of whale shark conservation, and training in field based scientific monitoring.
