Description

Do you want to play a major part in restoring the largest area of wet grassland in Northern Ireland? You need to be a confident communicator with good negotiation skills and be passionate about wildlife. This role will involve organising and delivering consultation events with key stakeholders in order to develop ownership and support, for the holistic approach to the management of approximately 1000 hectares of wet grassland. The consultation stage will identify the necessary prescriptions needed to restore the grassland, which will then be written up as a 5-year management plan. This post will be funded through Biffaward, a multi-million pound environmental fund, which utilises landfill tax credits donated by Biffa Waste Services. Educated to A level or equivalent; a degree in a related subject desirable. Contract: 1 year contract
