Water Resource Planning Expert (Team Leader)

For an upcoming tender, STELLA Consulting is looking for a Water Resource Planning Expert (Team Leader) with a proven track record in water management.  The Team Leader will be based in Pristina, Kosovo, with a time input of about 420 days over a two-year period.

Qualifications and skills

A bachelor’s degree (where a university degree has been awarded on completion of three years study in a university or equivalent institution) in water management or engineering, or 15 years of relevant professional experience.  A master/PhD in water management or other relevant discipline (following the award of the degree) is an advantage.

General professional experience

8 to 12 years of relevant professional experience.

Specific professional experience

1.    Experience in leading teams in the public sector and/or in EU-funded projects in one to three projects with a budget of more than €1 million ;

2.    Experience in advising national governments in strategic planning of water infrastructure investment management gained in two to three of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey; and

3.    Two to three years of practical experience in mechanisms or institutions responsible for facilitating investments in the water sector.
