Water Innovation Engineer

Based in the West of Melbourne, our client is focussed on providing water solutions to a variety of business and industry users. Working closely with Government Departments, they seek a Water Innovation Engineer for an immediate start.

The role will focus on the implementation of our client’s water recycling policy and strategy along with other relevant Government policies. This role is pivotal to the development of business growth in the supply of recycled water. You main tasks and duties will be to:

•    Assist in development and implementation of alternative water recycling policy and strategy
•    Integrate internal business processes
•    Support research
•    Establish and implement alternative water recycling business development opportunities.  
•    Liaise with Government and water industry departments
•    Negotiate with various stakeholders
•    Prepare feasibility studies
•    Deliver alternative water recycling projects that support Government initiatives

To be considered for the role you will:

•    Have a tertiary qualification engineering/science
•    Possess strong interpersonal skills
•    Show an ability to communicate effectively to people across all levels, both written and verbal.
