We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to assist with activities associated with the successful operation of the reserve, particularly with Ecological recording and surveying. The post holder will play a key role in public engagement, events and promoting and supervising volunteers. Other duties will include managing the maintenance of the visitor facilities and grounds and the shepherding of the livestock.
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard (A-C) or equivalent with previous demonstrable experience of lowland wet grassland ecology and grounds / nature reserve management. The ability to use horticultural machinery safely is vital to the role.
