Description

The WA Shorebird Project Coordinator is an exciting new position that will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders and the community to raise awareness and improve conservation outcomes for wetland birds, particularly shorebirds. The successful candidate will work closely with the WA Program Manager, the Shorebird and Wetland Bird teams (in National Office), and project partners to analyse monitoring data, support citizen-science monitoring programs, educate and engage the community, and identify and prioritise management interventions. We are looking for a self-motivated professional with project experience, excellent planning, analytical and communication skills, and a strong interest in the conservation of wetland birds.

Title: WA Shorebird Project Coordinator (0.8 FTE)
Location: Perth, WA
Salary:  $53,649-$54,794 pro-rata of $67,061 to $68,493 per annum (plus 9.5% superannuation)
Contract duration: 1.5 years (extension subject to funding / availability)
