Description

Contract duration: To December 2021 (extension subject to funding / availability)

The WA Black-Cockatoo Project Officer will work collaboratively with volunteers, communities, stakeholders and project partners to contribute research knowledge and improve conservation outcomes for threatened Black-Cockatoos in WA. The successful candidate will work with the BirdLife Black-Cockatoo Project Coordinator and the WA Program Manger to deliver citizen science programs including the Great Cocky Count and achieve positive conservation outcomes for Black-Cockatoos through greater community awareness and engagement in monitoring, and community and stakeholder participation in on-ground conservation initiatives.
