Volunteer in Rural Ecuador on Environmental & Social Development Projects

Volunteer in a beautiful, subtropical part of rural Ecuador, in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.  Help a small charity working for “Green Progress”, i.e. environmentally-responsible social and economic development.  The charity, CRACYP, is recognized for pioneering work in rural development and you can help out with whatever projects are happening at the time. 

Volunteer work might include helping the one teacher in the village school with over 40 students, developing an organic vegetable plot with the students, improving safety on organic sugar cane plantations, planning new projects to process raw materials produced in the area or researching excursions for an ecotourism project.   

Some Spanish lessons are included as part of the program so that you will be able to communicate with the friendly people in this small agricultural village.
