Located on a beautiful mountainside this organic farming community aims to regenerate a small piece of degraded land into a self-sufficient farm using permaculture design principles. The farm provides opportunities for volunteers who are interested in learning about permaculture and living off the land as well as living in a beautiful space for meeting new people, reading, yoga, and meditation. There is also a new project on a nearby site where volunteers have the opportunity to learn about and participate in natural building, appropriate technology, as well as the design and development of an edible forest garden.
Volunteers receive free accommodation in exchange for their work and contribute £15 per week to a central food kitty. There is plenty of space to sleep (platform bedroom, a yurt bedroom, etc) and sheets and bedding are provided. Private rooms available for couples.
