The Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity (ACCB) at Kbal Spean is the first Nature Conservation Centre in Cambodia. Its aim is to contribute to the preservation of wildlife and biodiversity, mainly in the northwest of the country. A rescue and breeding facility for threatened wildlife and an environmental education programme aimed at the local population as well as national and international visitors are the heart of the ACCB. We are currently looking for temporary field biologists to carry out field and interview surveys as a team leader. Field time will be approximately 20 days a month, carrying out interview and field research in Phnom Kulen National Park as well as in other areas in Siem Reap and Odor Meanchey Provinces. This position is for a field biologist with good organisational skills to lead a small team to do primate surveys and basic biodiversity surveys under the guidance of our Field Survey Coordinator.Starting date/ duration: The contract will be offered as a seasonal contract, starting as soon as possible for a period of six months, on a compensatory volunteer basis (300 USD per month, social insurance contributions will not be covered).
