This project will be monitoring one or two habituated groups of wild white-faced capuchin monkeys for a period of 4 months (November, 2013 - February, 2014) - taking behavioural, genetic, and hormonal data as part of a project on female reproductive strategies. It is looking for two field assistants to assist with data collection. This is a great opportunity to get primatology field experience. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until both assistant slots are filled.
Free accommodation and food plus small monthly stipend. Upon completion of a 4-month contract (November - February), field assistants will receive a £500 contribution towards their airfare.
Please visit the Volunteer Latin America Facebook page and website for other opportunities to volunteer abroad for free or at resonable cost in Central and South America.
