OPOWER is looking for a dynamic and motivated User Experience Intern. You will work with our product team to gain experience with design, user research and testing, prototyping, and the product development life cycle. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with strong interest and background in the user-centered design process.
About you
- Interest in user-research and user-centered design
- Experience in sketching, wire framing, task flows, and information architecture
- Experience with ethnographic research, usability evaluations, and/or usability testing
- Experience with competitor research, recruiting, & research documentation
- Comfortable working independently and alongside other design team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out in all phases of the research and design process.
Would be even better
- Web prototyping skills (HTML / CSS / Javascript / Flash)
- An understanding of web standards, design principles
- Experience with Illustrator/Photoshop
- Experience with data visualization and/or information design
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related field
