We are looking for Undergraduates to join our Change Programme Placement this summer Entry Requirements: All degree disciplines We are one of the UK’s leading energy companies, retailing electricity and gas to millions of homes and businesses across the country. Our energy expertise means we can tailor a wide range of products and services to meet our customers' individual energy requirements. We're committed to helping our customers improve the energy efficiency of their homes and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. We advise customers of the most beneficial energy tariffs to suit their needs, provide financial support for new products and offer practical guidance to help reduce their energy usage. Our retail business consists of three distinct areas; professional functions, customer services and commercial operations. We have a number of undergraduate opportunities across the retail business - ranging from business analyst placements to renewable solutions design. Working within our Retail Information and Change team (RIC), you will be supporting large-scale projects and programmes within the Retail Change Plan. Reviewing and enhancing our change management and project management techniques and processes, you will make a significant contribution to the working practices of our team. You will assist in coordinating and updating the Retail Project Management Methodology and keep accurate records of the change programme in action. The principles of project management are valuable skills that you will take away with you at the end of your placement – knowledge and skills that are transferable to many different business disciplines and industries. Of course, it is crucial that our programmes are well communicated with our colleagues across the Retail business, so this placement will require strong interpersonal and communication skills. These relationships will also help to improve internal RICS procedures such as resource management and financial governance. This extremely varied offers broad experience across our business as well as excellent training opportunities. |
