Description

My client is a globally recognised manufacturer of Wind turbines. They have worked to develop the most technically advanced and efficient product to be used in the development of Wind farm project developments. This company is looking to make a strong impact in the growing UK market. They can see the opportunity within the UK market and believe that by getting in now they will have the opportunity to get involved in the large array of projects that are to be undertaken over the next few years.

Core Criteria: My client is looking for a technically minded Wind turbines sales manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • ·         This position will involve travelling within the UK in order to attract new business for the Wind Turbine manufactures
  • ·         You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product
  • ·         You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients
  • ·         Train the customers on the product in order for them to best promote and utilize the wind turbines
  • ·         Close deals with clients and gaining strong connections during this process
  • ·         Perform to the highest standard in order to encourage brand awareness and quality awareness for the company
  • ·         Lead a team of turbine sales consultants within the UK market and encourage their sales through training and implementation of your sales techniques
  • ·         Work with company directors in order to best promote the product for the company

Education

A relevant degree in either engineering or business management

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         At least 10+ years’ post-degree experience in the sales role
  • ·         Experience working in the renewable energy market with a particular focus on wind turbines
  • ·         Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • ·         Advanced spoken and written English
  • ·         Able and willing to travel throughout the UK
  • ·         Experience leading and training a sales team

General requirements

  • ·         Ability to travel internationally
  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Strong presentation skills
  • ·         A desire to work in a target driven role

Key Skills:-

Wind Turbine sales, team leading and training and strong negotiation skills
