Description

My client is one of the major players in the Wind market internationally with a market share that is one of the largest in the business. They have worked to develop the most technically advanced and efficient product to be used in the development of Wind farm project developments. They are leaders in not only the manufacturing of wind turbine but also in the development of wind farms throughout the world. This company is looking to make a strong impact in the growing UK market were they currently have a number of projects in the pipeline.

 

Core Criteria: My client is looking for a deal maker to be the UK commercial director with a proven track record in negotiations and closing in the renewable energy market.

 

Responsibilities

  • ·         This position will involve travelling within the UK in order to attract new business on both the project and manufacturing level
  • ·         You will lead and negotiate projects with key clients within the UK wind market gaining contacts and forming relationships
  • ·         You will use your strong negotiation skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product and achieve the best most financially beneficial solution for the wind company
  • ·         You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients in the renewable energy market
  • ·         Close deals with clients and gaining strong connections within the Wind energy sector during this process
  • ·         Perform to the highest standard in order to encourage brand awareness and quality awareness for the company
  • ·         Lead a team of turbine sales consultants within the UK market and encourage their sales through your commercial awareness
  • ·         Work with company directors throughout Europe to establish key relationships and understanding of the Wind company

Education

A relevant degree in either engineering or business management

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         Experience working in a sales or commercial role in the renewable energy market
  • ·         Experience working in the wind market in preferably within the UK
  • ·         Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • ·         Advanced spoken and written English
  • ·         Able and willing to travel throughout the UK and Europe
  • ·         Experience leading and training a sales team
  • ·         Exceptional negotiations skills and a strong financial mind
  • ·         Background experience in project management is a bonus

  • ·         Ability to travel internationally
  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Strong presentation skills
