FSC is an educational charity which operates a network of Field Centres throughout the United Kingdom. We currently have a vacancy for a Tutor at FSC Flatford Mill in Suffolk.

In the important and challenging role of a Tutor you will develop, plan and deliver ‘out-of-classroom learning’ activities to a wide ranging audience; engaging and enthusing students and assisting FSC achieve their goal of ‘Inspiring Environmental Understanding through first-hand experience’. The post holder will be expected to lead groups at all levels and of abilities. 

Previous teaching experience is essential, as is a degree in Geography or closely allied discipline and knowledge of the National Curriculum.  You will also be confident in working both in a team and independently and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Hours of work are based on a notional average of 40 hours per week. 

FSC Salary Grade:  scale points 10 - 13, currently £17,595 - £20,078 p.a.
