Turbine Technician, Frankfurt, Germany

My client is a recognised onshore wind developer company in the German wind market. They have been successful in winning a number of high profile bids, to develop and operate wind farms. They have a strong reputation in the market and a good knowledge of the industry.

Position Overview:

Forming part of the technical team this role is responsible for working on various wind turbines across Germany. You will report directly to the Head of operations in the company.

Responsibilities:

• New installation and commissioning work in the German wind industry
• Working on various wind turbines across the industry and demonstrating an ability and desire to learn new skills in the market
• Maintenance and retro component fitting of wind turbines across Germany
• Working with a team of wind turbine technicians to the highest standard in order to ensure continued demand for my client

Education:

Electrical engineering degree of equivalent

Core Requirements:

• ·         Fluent speaking in German with English a bonus
• ·         NARC / TAG Working at Heights with Rescue,
• ·         Confined Spaces Entry,
• ·         First Aid (minimum 3 day course) CCNSG card,
• ·         OPITO recognized Slinger / Banksmans course

General Requirements:

• Ability to travel

• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• ·         Excellent presentation skills and a strong passion for the German wind industry
