C3 is currently recruiting staff to expand its programme in Madagascar and the Comoros islands. An internship with C3 will put you at the top of the list for these positions!
There are currently two vacancies available for interns on the C3-Comores programme. This work includes: • Marine park, local NGO and university student training • Socioeconomic surveys in collaboration with CORDIO East Africa • Awareness-raising at schools, local villages and fishermen's associations • Biological surveys and monitoring of nesting sea turtles • Creation of a dugong conservation action plan • Development of community-based ecotourism Applicants should possess a relevant degree and overseas field experience. Basic French or Swahili is useful but not necessary because we work with a team of local translators. Interns must cover expenses and commit for at least 2 months. This is a unique opportunity to gain field experience in one of the least explored and beautiful tropical island archipelagos of the world.
