We are looking for a Transport Concept Specialist for our newly established Center of Competence for Transportation. Initially, you will be based at our EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) head office in Brande, Denmark, but at a later stage we will move to our new competency center in Vejle, Denmark.

Work Assignments

As a Transport Concept Specialist your main responsibilities will cover:

• Developing transport and/or logistics concepts

• Acting as project manager of improvement initiatives

• Analyzing regional and global transport flows

• Supporting local transport functions around the world

• Participating in cross-functional alignment with e.g. our Engineering, Procurement and Customs departments and other stakeholders

In this position you must expect up to 40 days of travel per year.

Your Profile

You have an educational background in logistics or freight forwarding combined with experience with logistics and/or transportation from an international, process oriented business. Furthermore, you are an expert on transport flow mapping and concepts, and you are trained in reading performance specifications.

As a person you are open-minded and flexible, and you possess a strong personal drive and sharp analytical skills. You are capable of independent decision-making, and you have a result and detail-oriented approach to your assignments. In addition, you possess extraordinary communication and English skills both orally and in writing, and you have a thorough knowledge of IT, especially Excel. Lean and Six Sigma skills would be considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
