FSC locations within the UK Apprentice salary of £6,708 p.a. 30 hours per week / Annualised / Fixed term for 53 weeks to commence in September 2021 Accommodation Available
“Working with young people to share our passion and knowledge to inspire our future scientists, environmentalists, conservationists, campaigners, teachers, global citizens…” FSC Tutor. FSC wants to create a world where everyone feels connected to the environment so they can enjoy the benefits it gives and make choices that help protect it. We offer a range of field studies courses to visiting groups across our centres based all over the UK in stunning locations. This Graduate Development Programme is designed to equip individuals with the skills and attributes to become Outdoor Education Tutors, building experience through the delivery of courses to an increasingly wide range of audiences also whilst working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprenticeship qualification. During the programme each Trainee Tutor will be placed at a minimum of two FSC centres, each set in beautiful countryside, and will work and learn with likeminded people who have a great team ethic. You will gain valuable experience of:
We are looking for people educated to degree level in Science, Geography, Environmental Studies, Maths or a closely allied discipline; with experience of and enthusiasm for being in the outdoor environment; and who have the ability to use standard office software, social media and SMART technology to effectively support learning.
