As the Thermal Construction Manager you will be supervising up to 10 construction workers on the field. Your main working place will be on–site 75%, where 25% will be office based as plans have to be written and communication between departments have to be done. My client is a leading developer and construction firm in the space of renewable energy projects (Wind, Thermal, Solar, Hydro) operating mainly in the US market. As the business focuses on different energy markets the firm is experiencing a strong growth and expansion in as well South America and Africa.

As theThermal Construction Manager you will be supervising up to 10 construction workers on the field. Your main working place will be on-site 75%, where 25% will be office based as plans have to be written and communication between departments have to be done. This role is a great opportunity for someone who would like to make their next step into a Managing position and someone who is really to take on the responsibility in leading a team.

Main Responsibilities: 
– Structuring and supervising a 10 man team on-site of utility scale Thermal Power projects 
– Making sure Health Safety regulations are met 
– Communication with other energy department

Education: 
– Degree in Engineering

Key skills: 
– 4 years of experience in Thermal Power construction 
– 2-4 years of experience in working on utility power plants 
– Strong Renewable Energy focus throughout your career 
– Certificate in Health Safety

Soft Skills: 
– Easy-going personality 
– Physically fit and able to lift and work on outside work 
– Strong team building skills 
– US passport or green card 
– Fluent in English 
– Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese a plus
