Description

As a Test Engineer you will be part of a highly motivated team with focus on customer awareness, and you will participate in the development of new test methods for the investigation and characterization of the materials for our blade production.

More specifically, your responsibilities will cover:

• Identifying and developing mechanical, chemical and physical test methods as well as analyzing test results in cooperation with the rest of the technical organization

• Optimizing our test laboratory for future challenges

• Developing business processes, cooperation relations and interfaces with the remaining organization

• Being in contact with local and international testing companies and suppliers of test equipment and technologies

Your Profile

You have a degree in Engineering or similar, and you have specialized in or have experience with mechanical, chemical and physical testing or construction of test equipment. You have several years of experience with analysis of composite materials and polymers, preferably of glass and carbon fiber reinforced polymers, and/or with polymer chemistry. You are familiar with more of the following test methods: rheometry, DSC, DMA, IR/NIR, GC-MS, GPC and HPCL. Ideally, you are also familiar with fatigue tests, fracture mechanics tests and/or paint/filler tests. As a person, you are inventive, persistent and outgoing, and you have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments. You possess good communication skills and thrive in a dynamic and international environment. Besides, you are familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and with programming and transfer of collected data from test equipment. You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
