· Provides support to Engineering, Sales, and Construction staff members as it pertains to installation and commissioning of solar PV systems.
· Provide support to PV solar system owners, post construction as it pertains to resolving operational, functional, and user interface issues.
Provide onsite troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks
· Receive incoming service calls
· Maintain service call log
· Creating service/warranty issues, supporting documents, and assigning actions for branch operations in ERP system
· Creating service work orders and material requirements for service related issues
· Submit warranty claims and process RMA’s with vendors
· Acknowledge alarms generated by monitoring systems for PV sites
· Generate system performance reports
· Generate service time and material quotations
· Travel to customer site and resolve dysfunctional equipment issues and/or perform preventive maintenance tasks.
· Engage with customers in order to communicate performance expectations, planned resolutions, service follow-up upon issue resolution.
· Create and deliver performance reports, O&M reports and equipment upgrades as required.
· Participate in a 365 service schedule as required.

Requirements:
· High School diploma
· Two years of electrical contracting experience
· State Licensed Electrician
· Demonstrate general understanding of MS Office Suite software and its capabilities.
· Demonstrate general understanding of customer service protocols.
· Demonstrate ability to read and interpret plan sets as it pertains to PV solar installations.
· Demonstrate significant level of customer service interactive skills.
· Demonstrate ability to manage tasks, commitments, and deadlines as it pertains to assigned tasks, communications with customers, and internal customers.
Computer operations at a desk within office.
Moderate physical demands in lifting electrical equipment and parts (up to 50lbs)
Demonstrate comfort in working at heights, such as climbing ladders and working on roofs with up to 45 degree pitch
Demonstrate ability to triage inbound customer requests for the most effective methods to manage and solve issues.
Demonstrate ability to identify root cause of electrical issues and recommend appropriate resolution.
Demonstrate ability to lead teams as it pertains to field service tasks.
Background in solar/renewable energy is a plus, however the right individual will be trained.
