Technical solar PV manager, Southeast England

My client is a specialist solar PV module designer based in the UK. They are currently seeking a technical solar PV manager to overlook both the design team and the operations team. The role requires an experienced PV designer with business development expertise to look after the whole Photovoltaic design cycle and to ensure that transition between the design consultancy, the manufacturer and the client run smoothly. Further to this, the role requires an individual to build the business by improving efficiency and sourcing new business. The ideal candidate will not only have experience in solar PV design but will have a real passion for the industry and be looking to develop it within the UK.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overlooking whole PV design cycle
• Ensuring smooth transition between Map Environmental, manufacturers and clients
• Ensuring that design specifications are adhered to
• Building on a solid base of clients to expand business to other UK regions

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in PV design
• Knowledge of whole PV development cycle
• Deep interest in the development of the PV design market in the UK
• Business development experience within the renewable energy field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
