Technical Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Sales Manager, UK

My Clients is a leading wholesaler for solar products, offering the entire range of solar engineering to installers, dealers and re-sellers. As part of their expansion in the UK market are looking to recruit a technical sales manager to oversee sales and business development.

Responsibilities:-

• Develop and manage a pipeline that supports the company’s growth strategy
• Identify and prioritize new business prospects

• Negotiating terms and closing deals
• Focus on developing new accounts and on growing & maintaining existing accounts
• Ability to build customer relationship, by frequent visits of installers and project designers
• Product and company presentations
• Technical support and PV system design
• Responsible for effective and profitable sales management in UK
• Elaboration of technical and commercial offers 
• Support customer training
• Representing the company at trade shows
• Continuously evaluating market development

Requirements:-

• At least 3 years work experience, with a proven track record in the solar (PV) industry.
• Experience in the photovoltaic industry
• Electrical or mechanical engineering degree( Masters Preferred)
• Must be fluent in English( spoken, written and reading)
• Proven track record within this area

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, detecting realistic solutions

• Ability to effectively manage time and budget or expense parameters
• Exceptional communications including interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to work independently, strong problem-solving
