Technical Service Manager, Munich, Germany

My client  is a leading global manufacturer of high quality crystalline ingots, wafers, cells and mono and multi crystalline PV panels with operations spaning across Europe, South-East Asia and the US.

Position Overview:
The Technical Service Manager will be responsible for handling all technical related questions, training, assisting partners projects with expertise on modules.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Contact person for all technical related questions from their partner/customers’ side
• ·         Arrange internal trainings for staff and external trainings for partner/customers
• ·         Assisting partners when realizing big projects
• ·         On-site visits during important deliveries (e.g. beginning of construction of a solar park)
• ·         Handle customer complaints / claims
• ·         Help build trust during the sales process
• ·         Present new developments to partners/ customers and internal staff
• ·         Prepare technical documentations (for marketing purpose also)
• ·         Serve as the link to the R&D and technical department in China

Education:-

• ·         BA degree or above in Engineering
• ·         Proficient in written and spoken English
• ·         At least 2 years experience in the PV industry
• ·         Willing to travel

Core Requirements:-

• ·         Strong technical knowledge
• Relevant PV experience in the PV industry is essential
• ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

General Requirements:-

• ·         Ability to travel
• ·         Ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of constantly changing priorities

Key Skills:-

•Solar PV, technical understanding, after-sales experience, solar product (wafers, ingots, modules and/or inveters) experience .
