Description

My client is a rapidly expanding producer of solar inverters, with a global reach and ambition to become one of the most important players in this section of the industry. They are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager to join their dedicated team in Italy selling to distributors throughout the European markets. This is an incredible opportunity to join an expanding solar company with an already established global presence and portfolio.

Position Overview:
As the new Technical Sales Manager you will be required to sell my clients products to the distributors throughout the European markets, delivering after sales advice and technical support to clients whilst upholding the high standards and market reputation set in place by the company. Reporting to the sales director, you should be fluent in Italian and have at least two years experience working in the solar industry.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Providing technical support to the distribution network
  • ·         Selling the products to the distributors throughout Europe
  • ·         Organsise events to promote and sell my client’s services
  • ·         Training of new dealers and distributers  on the installation of my clients products
  • ·         Assisting the already established network and adding value via your experience
  • ·         Carrying out product performance and quality assurance tests
  • ·         Further establishing my clients already substantial business within Europe
  • ·         Performing maintainance and upkeep of my clients products

Education:-

  • ·         Any engineering degree (mechanical, civil, electrical etc) is highly desirable, along with a background in sales

  • ·         A strong background in engineering
  • ·         Field sales
  • ·         Experience in the solar industry
  • ·         Career driven
  • ·         Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
  • ·         Excellent organizational skills

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel
  • Italian speaking
  • Flexible with working hours
