Technical Sales Manager (m/f) Offshore

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and close large offshore turbine EPCI contracts
  • First point-of-contact for the client and primary contact in the project sales phase
  • Lead a successful sales team of turbine, service, foundation and installation experts and Proposal support team member
  • Coordinate all internal activities needed to close contracts
  • Overall responsibility for the sales project success
  • Lead and instruct sales Team members allocated to the project
  • Structuring the sales project team and develop a distribution strategie with the VP Sales Offshore
  • Presentations on exhibitions and conference

Profile:

  • Degree in technical or commercial discipline (MBA or Bachelor degree)
  • Knowledge of the offshore wind industry and their players
  • References on closing large volume contracts preferably based on  FIDIC yellow book
  • Strong leadership competences
  • Fluent command of English and German, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to talk to clients on all levels, from CEO  to working level
  • Ability to convince people, both externally and internally
  • Ability to manage interdisciplinary teams
  • Well-structured approach to work
  • Customer- and service-oriented mentality
  • Appreciation of the dynamic nature of the offshore wind power market and the associated changes that may be required at a corporate level
