Technical Operator for large scale Solar PV plants, Germany

My client is a large European developer of solar power plants with operations across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful international organization in a lead position within the company. They are looking for an experienced technical operator to manage their large scale solar power plants in Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Producing detailed technical designs.
• Be responsible for budget control and documentation for the transition between the construction and operation phases.
• Ensure the smooth day to day running of the solar plant
• Ensure that the yields predicted are achieved on operation of the plant and the production of yield and error reports
• Attend client meetings in order to assess the relevant needs and to advise clients on viability of projects
• Will have to co-ordinate with project managers so as to ensure all requirements are met
• Ensure that all projects are met to strict deadlines thereby ensuring that a high level of client satisfaction is maintained

Requirements:

• Will have 2-3 years experience in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering of large scale projects
• Solar PV experience is essential
• Independent, structured, process orientated work style
• Must speak fluent German and be willing to relocate to Germany
• Will be willing to travel nationally and internationally as required for projects
• Will have degree level qualification in electrical engineering or related field
• Will adopt a proactive approach to your work and be able to work individually and take the lead when necessary.
