Technical Manager, Site Investigation & Remediation

Our client is an environmental waste management company that provides services to a range of customers throughout the UK.  It is currently looking for a waste professional to join it’s team in Sussex.
You will manage and develop the Site Investigation and Remediation Division, ensuring quality in the provision of existing services and development of the Division in line with commercial opportunities highlighted by the Business Development Manager.  This will involve undertaking the job roles of Environmental Scientist and Geologist, and ensuring that current environmental protection legislation and published guidance is adhered to.  You will also establish effective performance standards as well as supervising Divisional personnel.
A BSc in a relevant Earth or Environmental Science discipline is required, along with membership of a professional body or organisation.  It is expected that you will need around three years experience of multidisciplinary working, leading and managing people in a customer facing role and in the development of service provision.
