Technical Analyst. London

My client is one of the largest global developers with an outstanding reputation for excellence. They develop, construct and operate large scale on and offshore wind farms.

Position Overview:
Sitting within the design engineering team you will provide technical and analytical expertise in the design of offshore wind power projects from initial conception through to operation.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure statistical robustness through assesing the design of engineering processes
• Date and time series analaysis
• Development of oceanographic data strategies
• Clearly define scope for surveys and studies
• Techno-economic modelling
• Provide general management to consultants, contractors and junior engineers

Education:
You will be educated to degree level. Preferably in a numerical discipline

Core Requirements:-
• Strong statistical skills
• Numerical and analytical thinker
• Programming skills (e.g. Matlab, R, VBA, Python)
• Project management skills

General Requirements:-
• Ability to work alone under pressure towards strict deadlines
• Team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
