Forum is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the delivery support team in our London office. This is an ideal role for someone seeking to build experience and skills in general administration whilst working in a busy and diverse office environment. It is also a great opportunity to be at the center of and contribute to one of the UK's leading sustainable development organisations.
You will report to the Finance and Admin Manager and help our team of administrators to provide support to a large team of advisors, administer our many projects and partnerships, and ensure the smooth running of our London office.
Duties include:
• support for meetings and general office management
• entering and updating information in our Salesforce database, the Forum intranet and our website
• helping to prepare and maintain documents and systems
• preparing for Forum events such as workshops and seminars
• research tasks
• booking travel, food & accommodation
• general support to project and partner managers
Person specification:
• good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• excellent attention to detail and the completion of tasks
• enthusiastic about being part of a busy and friendly office
• reliable, proactive and able to take the initiative when necessary
• highly organized, efficient and able to multi-task
• an interest in sustainable development is desirable but not essential
The internship is for 4 days a week over a period of three months; however work hours can be negotiated. The internship is unpaid, but Forum for the Future is able to cover lunch up to £5 per day and daily transport costs to the office (within Zone 6). You will receive necessary training and support relevant to the tasks involved.
