This role is to lead and develop the Environmental Assurance Team in line with this successful consultancy's Business Plan; to develop the services and best-practice processes related to Environmental Assurance activity; to collaborate with the Associate and Regional Directors in raising the profile of its Environmental Assurance capabilities within target markets.
MAIN ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Uses technical expertise to inform, challenge, and define the services offered to clients.
• Collaborates with the Associate / Regional Directors in developing the Environmental Assurance services across all portfolios; contributes to securing significant new business.
• Develops new ‘best practice’ in service delivery.
• Supports the effective delivery of all Environmental Assurance activity, including quotes, contracts, specifications, scopes of work, and reports.
• Provides technical and commercial coaching for junior colleagues.
• Provides line management to the Environmental Assurance Team; monitors performance; provides support for continuous professional development; determines fair levels of reward; ensures that duty of care is maintained.
• Contributes to the growth of the Environmental Assurance Team by attracting and retaining new candidates.
- Adheres to internal HSEQ systems and procedures, and acts as an example to colleagues.

- Performs their role with professionalism and integrity, acting as an example of good business practice in accordance with key Business Values.
- Undertakes other tasks as required in support of the Company’s development and delivery, as agreed with the Director of Delivery.
