About the role:

The role of Team Assistant to the OCEO is an essential supporting role within the Greenpeace team. They provide executive support and day-to-day guidance to the CEO, ensuring a proactive and integrated approach across Greenpeace Australia Pacific. The Team Assistant to the OCEO works closely with the CEO to manage prioritisation of their workload and demands, provide administrative support, coordinate interactions with internal departments and the global organisation, and support engagement with relevant external networks and communities. This role will also involve extensive liaison with major donors, major gift prospects and cultural influencers and others with whom the CEO deals routinely.

About You:

We are seeking an individual with excellent time management, organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. They will be a team player with exceptional communication and liaison skills and obtain sensitivity to cultural differences. They will work well under pressure and be able to solve problems to create clear and simple solutions. Previous experience and knowledge in budget management is desirable.

The ideal candidate will also be proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, Google Drive & email systems, with fast and accurate typing skills (70 wpm) and a familiarity with social media platforms. They will have strong presentation, reporting and minute taking abilities and be able to work autonomously without supervision.
