Key Result Areas/Duties

  • Manage the existing CSIRO energy and water audit program
  • Manage the “Carbon/Energy” theme of the CSIRO Environmental Sustainability Strategy
  • Working with key stakeholders, effectively evaluate, plan and implement alternative energy and carbon solutions identified in the Environmental Sustainability Strategy. These include initiatives related to “green” buildings, “greening” of the CSIRO vehicle fleet, “Green” IT procurement and education and awareness programs.
  • Assist the CSIRO Environmental Data Manager in the collation and interpretation of CSIRO energy data for reporting into the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting scheme
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to support the effective delivery of the CSIRO Environmental Sustainability Strategy
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the CSIRO Environmental Sustainability team and broader HSE network
