Sustainability Officer, Scotland

My client is a leading consultancy firm providing a comprehensive range of services in the sustainability and climate change sector.

Responsibilities:-

• Identify, organize and manage internal/external resources and competences for providing consulting and engineering services on renewables, energy efficiency; sustainable built environment; carbon management and sustainability issues to the client portfolio
• developing policy and procedures for environmental and sustainability management
• Provide advice on environmental matters, sustainable development, energy use and renewable energy technologies to bid teams
• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of new developments
• Oversee carbon foot-printing activities
• Identifying and implementing staff training

Requirements:-

• At least 3-5 years work experience with a proven track record
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree(environment/sciences discipline)
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Must have knowledge of the CRC framework
