Sustainability Intern

The Company

Our client is a small and growing team of carbon and
sustainability specialists. They focus on practical solutions to carbon and
sustainability management in the work environment and deliver projects to a
wide range of UK
and International businesses.

They cover energy efficiency, waste and recycling,
procurement, transport, renewable energy, carbon management and communications.

The Position

Building on the success of previous intern placements, our
client is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, sustainability intern to
help develop the business and provide delivery support on consultancy projects,
the certification scheme and for the business as a whole.

The placements are paid and last three or four months. In
some cases, interns have subsequently joined the company. You will:

-Help write proposals and run events.

-Help develop the tools and knowledge base for the business.

-Help the management team with the administration of a
variety of other carbon and sustainability projects.

-Support the delivery of the certification programme to a
range ofUK andLondon businesses.

-Help provide on and off site environmental support to
businesses.

This is a real opportunity to develop personally. You will
develop commercial skills; gain experience of providing practical environmental
help to businesses; build understanding and skills in the environment and in
sustainability; and gain experience of working in a small, fast moving team.

We are looking for an organised self starter who has had a
successful first work experience (summer placement or similar). You will have
some knowledge of sustainability; will have well developed writing skills; and
a proven ability to learn fast in a new environment. We are also looking for
environmental awareness and passion. Applicants should hold a minimum 2.1 from
a leading university.
