Job Skills/Requirements
Position responsibilities:
Develop greenhouse gas (GHG) / carbon emissions inventories including data analysis, emission factor development, calculation methodology, web-system deployment and support clients third party environmental reporting activities
Evaluate clients environmental and energy portfolio and identify regulated and/or market opportunities to support client sustainability objectives
Conduct evaluations and assessments of client facilities with focus on carbon, water & waste minimization
Work with clients to define and implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and programs including metrics development and external reporting support
Research, filter, warehouse and communicate key emerging information and trends relating to global sustainability initiatives such as carbon cap-and-trade and related climate change legislation
Research, analyze and support client-specific strategies regarding sustainability policies and activities
Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis of empirical data with particular focus on environmental data such as carbon, water and waste including life-cycle analysis (LCA)
Investigate and provide impact analysis of pertinent market and regulatory information including supply chain initiatives, CSR,
Organize, inform and partner with multi-disciplinary teams within Summit to help coordinate service delivery
Build and support relationships with regulatory entities, vendors and product/service companies
Contribute to the development of training resources for both internal and external clients
Other duties as requested
Some travel necessary (10-15%)

Essential skills and qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Environmental, Energy, Engineering, CSR or a related field with an interest in pursuing a career in sustainability
3 6 years of related professional experience
Some project management experience
High commitment to company vision, values and excellent client service
Proven track record in developing, managing, and executing client solutions
Progressive history of building successful relationships
Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, complex analysis and ideas in a concise manner
Analytical self-starter with strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple complex projects in diverse areas
Proficient with Microsoft Office products

Non-Essential skills and qualifications:
Energy and/or environmental experience, particularly with respect to carbon, water and/or waste management
Experience with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives
Experience leading team discussions and making senior management level presentations
