Description

We have a fantastic opportunity within our science, recording and monitoring team.  A two-year post, the Supporting Science Officer will increase public engagement (including from under-represented audiences) in our popular butterfly and moth citizen science projects, including the world-famous UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme (UKBMS). You will deliver a new National Lottery Heritage Fund project to increase the flow, quality and accessibility of butterfly and moth records, through the development of new and improved online tools and training and feedback to participants. You will also provide support and training to UKBMS volunteers. As part of the team, you'll play a vital role in the strategic transformation of our gathering and use of biodiversity data.

If you are passionate about biodiversity and citizen science, with proven experience in project management and engaging and supporting volunteers, then this could be the post for you.  Visit our website link above for further details.
