Our success to date is based on in-depth process and engineering knowledge, applied in a practical manner to provide the best possible solutions and advice to our clients.  The company is seeking to recruit a student for a summer placement in our technical services team.

Job description

The principal responsibilities of this post include assistance with:

• Updating and maintaining a database of technology specifications
• Wind monitoring mast, data logger, instrumentation installation and commissioning  
• Data recovery, screening and appending
• Site visits
• Power performance testing, equipment installation and commissioning
• General equipment maintenance
• Assisting the Renewable Energy Consultants as required

Essential criteria

• Ideally a third or fourth year student studying engineering/computing/maths/technology based subject
• Technically competent
• Competent user of Microsoft Excel
• Competence in reading and understanding standards and specifications.
• Reliability and good organisational skills are paramount.
• You should have excellent communication skills, coupled with a flexible and proactive approach to work to thrive in this busy team.

An interest in renewable energy and/or sustainability is desirable.  The company is growing rapidly.

Salary: Competitive
Holidays: 23 days and 9 public holidays pro rata
