We are a not-for-profit company providing specialist support to help business and the public sector boost business returns by cutting carbon emissions, saving energy and commercialising low carbon technologies.
Help develop the Carbon Trust company strategy, inform business and policy makers based on market insight and provide strategy and markets consultancy support across the Carbon Trust.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Manage projects including developing scopes of work, leading procurement processes, co-ordinating pilots and managing contractors and/or internal teams
Ensure effective coordination, communication and dissemination of project plans and project end products
Deliver and support internal improvement projects
Develop and deliver policy and market insights for internal use and external audiences
Feed into business development in terms of ideas generation and evaluation
Be an active member of strategy & markets and technology teams, through engaging in problem solving/supporting projects across the company

Provide problem solving support to the Carbon Trust and its programmes
Provide policy makers with key insights that help them accelerate progress towards a low carbon economy
Provide consulting support to other functional areas in a timely and high quality manner

Qualifications and experience:
The individual must have strong analytical experience at either strategic management consultancy or in a corporate
Degree educated to 2:1 or 1st Class honours (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Desired post graduate business, engineering or science qualification
