Opower is looking for someone to lead our corporate marketing team, responsible for our brand, communications, field marketing activities, and partnering closely with sales for lead generation and nurturing campaigns as the company evolves from a SaaS startup to a global energy information brand with paying clients around the world. In this capacity he/she will be responsible for leading, managing, mentoring, and building a talented team to own and execute on a go-to-market strategy that drives Opower’s revenue growth and market expansion. He/she is an action-oriented leader with a track record of crafting effective campaigns that drives competitive sales wins in a sophisticated space, partnering very closely with sales to find ways to supplement their efforts with thoughtful field marketing activities , and managing a dynamic team to execute. Success in the role requires an innovative and analytical mind, a proven track record of marketing execution, world class branding and communications skills, and hyper-growth capabilities. The position can be located in Arlington, VA or San Francisco, CA.
