The Cornwall Chough Project is seeking two people to support the Project Manager with nest protection (day and night), monitoring choughs, running the public watchpoint, and managing a large team of volunteers. Applicants need to communicate well with the public, to work in a small team, be literate and numerate, computer literate, and have a full driver's licence. The posts involve working outside in very public and remote locations, unsocial hours, including nights/evenings/early mornings/weekends and public holidays. Applicants need to understand conservation issues. Ornithological knowledge and experience in managing volunteers preferred. First aid and off-road driving qualifications are desirable.
