Specialist solar installation and design expert, Surrey

My client is a leading UK based renewable energy company. Owing to market growth and greater demand they are currently looking to hire an extra solar system design and installation specialist in Surrey. This is an opportunity to work from home with frequent travel around the South East region.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking new business originated by the Sales Representatives and bringing these to fruition
• Designing complete solar PV (photovoltaic) and thermal systems and project managing the installation of these systems
• Working closely with both residential and commercial customers
• Maintaining a strong relationship with key clients eg. large corporate clients
• Sourcing key parts eg, cables, solar modules etc at a cost effective rate without any loss of quality

Skills and qualifications needed:

• Strong knowledge of the MCS
• Experience designing and installing 30+ small scale solar projects (up to 200kw)
• Background in electrical engineering
• Excellent problem solving
• Valid UK work permit
• Passionate about the UK solar market
• Proven track record working to deadlines at a high level of competence
