My client is a global manufacturer of PV cells and modules who is looking to penetrate the UK solar market. They are currently looking for an experienced sales person with a proven track record in the solar industry to lead their sales efforts in the UK.

 

Position Overview:

My client is looking for a highly competent and experienced candidate to take charge of the sales efforts of solar PV modules in the UK. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a global organization during an exciting phase of their growth. You will be responsible for generating new clients and revenue for the company by cold-calling, maintaining existing client relationships and visiting clients on site to outline the product range and their benefits.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Establish and grow key relationships with new and existing customers
  • ·         Provide aftersales support to customers, resolve complaints and resolve sensitive situations
  • ·         Conduct market research and analysis to ensure that the business plan and sales are moving in line with the market
  • ·         Coordinate with the marketing team for local exhibitions to increase brand awareness
  • ·         Liaise with the technical department so as to be able to provide the best quality of advice and support to customers
  • ·         Source new clients to generate new streams of revenue

 

Education:

MSc or BSc in Business Management or Sales and Marketing is desirable

 

Core Requirements:

  • ·         Must have 2-4 years experience in Solar PV sales
  • ·         Must have strong negotiation skills
  • ·         Be able to develop rapports and build relationships as you will be acting as a brand ambassador
  • ·         Will be a target driven individual
  • ·         Must be innovative and a problem-solver

General Requirements

  • ·         Strong communication skills
  • ·         Must be willing to travel frequently
